The Academy of Finland granted approximately 35 million euros to research projects in the fields of natural science and technology. Funding could only be provided for approximately 15% of Academy projects. Projects received an average of 500,000 euros in funding. Project funding enables new winds in the fields of scie nces and diversity of research.
Funding was granted to the following research projects at the School of Chemical Technology:
Professor Ville Alopaeus: From flow to crystal properties
Professor Simo-Pekka Hannula: Active MSM Hybrid Materials
Professor Jari Koskinen: High Strength Carbon Nano Hybrid Materials
