Process technology, industrial biotechnology, biomaterials science, metals and minerals recovery processes and active and functional materials are the focus areas of research at the School of Chemical Technology. In these areas, the focus is on the development of environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient processes for the refining of wood, other bio-masses, and inorganic raw materials. The school's research teams also develop new materials and their applications based on these raw materials.
